Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Wednesday touted his Republican colleague Sen. Mike Lee (Utah) as the "best choice" to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created by Justice Anthony Kennedy's retirement announcement.
"I think the single best choice President Trump could make to fill this vacancy is Sen. Mike Lee," Cruz said on Fox News shortly after Kennedy's announcement. "I think he would be extraordinary."

Thanks for the kind words.....was thinking I accidentally landed in liberal land with all the attacks against a man who has proven his conservative credentials.
Plenty of men and women, like Lee, have been fighting to preserve our country LONG before Trump even thought about running for President, and for you to degrade him/them because they weren't "Trump struck" is a disservice to this country.
Guess what? I didn't like Trump either....but I pulled the lever, and prayed, because I would shoot myself before I helped Clinton.
That being said, I've thanked the Lord every single day that Trump IS the President he is.....and I pray he's granted strength, health and safety to do the job he's trying to do.
But Trump WILL be gone after 8 years.......and it's not going to matter who was a Trumpster.....or who was a Never Trumper.....because our opponents are playing the long game.
Whether Lee is qualified to be a SCJ, I don't know, but I know he's a man I hope will still be fighting for his country, when President Trump's terms are over.
I wouldn’t support Cruz or Lee, both are far too political to be judges.

Sorry but NO THANKS. There are others on Trump’s list that seem better qualified than Lee. I want the BEST qualified Conservative jurist not the politically connected one.
Don’t care about Cruz one lick. He ran for President Knowing he was ineligible. I don’t and won’t ever trust him again.

I care far more about a conservatives record on issues than where they stand on trump. Trump will only be president for 2-6 more years a scotus Justice will be on the bench a much longer period of time
Some Libertarians are notorious Nevertrumpers. The Libertarian who took over the Texas GOP is a Libertarian and big time Nevertrumper and he has surrounded himself with staff who are the same.
I didn’t vote for Trump in my state primary. Does that make me a “nevertrumper?”

That action could include encouraging others not to vote for trump, like mike lee did. And cruz did.
