Indeed it looks like time for me to heed that.
But it was so unnecessary for these fools. May I humbly point up how Salvation Army addresses such issues. Almost alone among ministries I have met, they bid fair to convince the mother that God cares. THIS IS THE KEY. All those shameful virtue signaling conservatives won’t take the trouble, lest they be seen as too SOFT.
And what’s more they don’t wait for a crisis pregnancy. Their vacation bible schools are so packed with “God love” that any “self respecting conservative” would go tilt. Yet prevention is the best cure. Train up a child in the way he should go. So many people today are scared of not being hard enough. That’s like talking band aids rather than putting the knives away.
You see, not even our political liberals are being liberal any more. If they were liberal, we’d have far fewer problems. Instead they are among the most hard-assed people of all. They go in to a fire with buckets of gasoline, not water. All they can think is a vengeance, not a cure.
