“While Wilkinson had refused the service in a respectful manner, Sanders took to social media as a personal offense” - I stopped reading right here. They incited a mob to FOLLOW her party to the next restaurant and continued to harass them. Talk about fake news.

“According to NBC 10 in Lexington, Wilkinson resigned from the ownership of the Red Hen,”

Do just the sex offender owns it now?

The Red Hen or other restaurants nearby of similar mindset, should post a sign, like:

“We refuse service to anyone in bare feet, shirtless, or of a different political opinion than mine.”

It looks like Wilkinson has been “defanged”. She has lost ownership of the restaurant, and any say so in what goes on in that town. Actions have consequences, Ms. Wilkinson.

This article is filled with mis-statements, misrepresentations. Perfect example of Fake News!

The first person to post about Sarah being asked to leave was the woman’s own employee!

We need a George Soros type that can pay people and get them accommodations so they can keep it up until this business is no more.

Just like they do...

Their reopening might be delayed if a box of mice and rats were to be accidentally dumped through a broken window into the restaurant. It would be a shame if that happened.

While Wilkinson had refused the service in a respectful manner, Sanders took to social media as a personal offense . . .

This article is biased even by the standards of the #FakeNews media. You cannot respectfully refuse service to someone who has already been served. The Red Hen was shockingly rude - politicizing what was supposed to be a pleasant (if unsanitary and overpriced) meal.

Many supporters of Huckabee-Sanders and Trump have credited this incident to be an egregious display of hatred and discrimination but also hypocritical of the opposition, with citations to the recent Supreme Court ruling favoring the Colorado baker who refused service to a gay couple.

There is no hypocrisy at all, and professional liars in the #FakeNews media know it. Government should not interfere with far-left thugs boycotting any business they object to, nor should government interfere with decent people boycotting the Red Hen. A problem arises only when thugs use government to punish the free expression of Americans.

Government cannot constitutionally or morally punish a baker for refusing service, nor can they ethically punish the communists at Red Hen for refusing service. The #FakeNews journalists know perfectly well that the distinction between government fines and a community boycott is a fundamental difference between us shunning the disgusting socialists of Red Hen and their people who inflict huge government fines on normal Christians.

I'm guessing it's a partnership agreement, with partners invested in a group ownership to some degree and with varying specified amounts of control.

Yes. I've read she had a silent partner in the business.

If the rumors about the silent partner are true, I'm pretty sure that partner will not be able to re-open the business without an active partner to front it.

And, I'll leave it at that.

In life, when you decide you are going to “take a stand”...you might consider the consequences first.

We all get our chance to vote for what we believe in at least every other year. Sometimes it’s best to just leave your actions at that...

But if you decide you are going to “storm the gates” of society, make sure you really got it all planned out first...

“I will not commend the actions taken by the protestors nor do I agree with what they stood by

So the police chief of Lexington doesn't agree with the protestors.

The entire town is as bad as Wilkinson.

Got what they deserved, they pull it on Any CHRISTIAN business they want to target, don't like it being done to them in reverse.

Yeah, “puke red”...no bias there...

Just quit reading after that... clearly some marxist magazine that is butt hurt that their communist red color was “appropriated” for another cause.

Thanks for the ping.

I wonder if Wilkinson has learned actions have consequences yet...I doubt it.

She said in response to a question at a press conference that she did not post anything about the incident until employees at the restaurant posted about it on social media. After the employees posted she began to get questions about it and her post was in response to the questions.

Got to wonder about the food in the fridge. It’s history...after awhile the freezer meat will turn. Hopefully the frozen meat will be distributed to a food pantry, ‘cause we all know Wilkerson cares. There is business interruption insurance but she won’t qualify as this was self inflicted.

“Puke red”?

WTF is that?

I was wondering the same thing. If the author's puke is red, there's a big health problem. Maybe it's a lifestyle choice.
