You still can’t resign from either of those. Partnership you could sell or gift your ownership stake. LLC would need to be disolved or ownership transferred in some way. The point is the owner is the responsible party and this includes debt obligations and many other obligations. You don’t get to just resign and walk away from a business especially if it’s failing.
