New York City mayor Bill de Blasio is calling for the abolishment of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In the wake of nationwide protests against the Trump administration’s immigration policies, de Blasio told WNYC radio Brian Lehrer on Friday that ICE should be abolished.

We all need to support them - have your REPUBLICAN representative propose legislation that they (DEMS) can get behind - such as abolishing:
1. The Fed
2. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development
3. Dept. of Homeland Security
4. Health & Human Services
5. Dept. of Education

We could go back to the way it was before. Customs was one agency and immigration was another. People used to yell La migra! And you would see illegals run for the exits. There was a much greater emphasis on capturing illegals when immigration was its own agency. They didn’t just look for criminals, and I’m pretty sure I remember when they would pay a reward if someone reported a company that hired illegals

So far, we have two prominent NY politicians ( and one upcoming ) who want to abolish ICE. Senator Kirsten Gillebrand, Mayor Bill De Blasio and the new upcoming Sandersita, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.
My next New York bets to follow this crowd are : Chuck Schumer and Andrew Cuomo.
That would complete the collapse of New York.

You realize, that the acronym is already taken. Britain has National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), which is anything but.
Every city needs a reasonable mayors office. The NYC mayor's office is not reasonable. The NYC mayors office is broken, it's divisive and it should be abolished.

Fine. Abolish ICE and replace it with IE and CE.
They are abusive, break up families if you simply can't afford to pay, consider you proven guilty before innocent, used to punish your political opponents, etc. etc.
