I don’t even know why they bother going through the motions when they’ve already shown their hole card, except that they must know that enough Americans don’t pay attention that they can pretend moves like that were some anomaly while it’s politically expedient that they have to. None of them have any use for the original Constitution. That’s why they call it “living”, as they undermine it completely. Once they’ve done that, just as with issues in the court, “the matter is settled”. They want to make the US into a completely different country, people and all.
