Congressman: Rosenstein Is Spying On Me
The Daily Caller ^ | 29 June 2018 | Saagar Enjeti

Posted on 06/30/2018 8:39:36 AM PDT by Magnatron

Republican Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert believes government personnel working for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein are spying on his office, he told WMAL’s “Morning on the Mall” Friday.

“I don’t doubt for a minute that he has people who have been looking into my background. I’ve been told as much by some other folks,” Gohmert told WMAL host and Daily Caller editorial director Vince Coglianese.

Gohmert continued, “I’ve had people who work for the government saying they know everybody that comes in your office.”

The congressman caveated that he did not believe any such operation was overseen by Rosenstein personally but that it was people who worked for him. “There’s always deniability,” he said.

Gohmert’s comments came after Rosenstein’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee Thursday, where he was repeatedly pressed on his role in renewing the FISA warrant on former Trump staffer Carter Page.

A spokesman from the Department of Justice did not respond to a request for comment.

Trying finding something on him with which to blackmail him into silence.

“...“There’s always deniability,” he said.”

Standard operating procedure for RR. He was spewing his “plausible deniability” over and over during the recent hearings. Sickening.

Louie Gohmert is a certifiable paranoid loon.

Rosenstein is a danger to the Republic. Imprison him in solitary...whatever works best to keep him from talking to people. Same with Mueller.

Louie needs to put a tail on RR and bug his office.

Hmm.
If this is true, then RR is done.

Earlier this year, Rosenstein lost his temper in a meeting with House staffers and threatened to surveil them.

In the hearing Thursday, Jim Jordan asked him, “Did you threaten to subpoena House staffers’ phone calls?”

Rosenstein gave a snarky answer: “You can’t subpoena phone calls,” and the galley laughed.

It was a display of arrogance like when Hillary was asked, “Did you wipe your hard drive?” “What, with a cloth?”

It’s nothing personal, Louie. He spies on EVERYBODY.

Trump can afford to put a private eye on anyone he wants. And it would be easy to have deniability. And he could always say “There is no controlling legal authority”. Or something like what Gore said.

Rosenstein is a deep state agent, but he is just a pawn for a greater master.

Sessions is the same.

Both should be jailed at Gitmo

Have patience; the fishnet is about to be yanked in, just waiting for a last few fishes to make their verbal threats.

I’ve believed for a long time that Trump is waiting for the “moment”to launch the counter attack. He has proven such a masterful strategist so far, I don’t doubt that he will pick the right moment

If the swamp makes it impossible to get justice by application of the law, I fear that some people might try to get it by alternative means.
