City Administrator Naomi Kelly says it will be the first to hit the milestone for all workers. But it won’t be the last. California lawmakers approved a plan two years ago to increase the state’s $10 minimum to $15 by 2022. […]

Within a short while price inflation will make it an unlivable wage. What then, Oh geniuses of the Left?

It will soon be the trendy thing in all San Fransicko restaurants, for people to provide their own service and bus their own tables. Probably even wash their own dishes.

This will not end well. Expect victims of the Law of Unintended Consequences to start piling up by year end.

And now you have restaurants laying off workers. Serve yourself.

If they thought they had a problem with insects before, wait until that happens.

There are also restaurants, already, having their customers serve themselves. No wait staff, just the cook staff and someone to bring the food to the table.

Simple. Raise the minimum wage to 100 dollars an hour.

HUD says a family of four in San Francisco or San Mateo County with an income of 105,350 is now considered “low income.”

I think the poverty line is now up to 114,000.

Hello Venezuela.

What about the people who are in more highly-skilled jobs and are already making $15? Will they get paid the same as the person who changes out the urinal cakes, or will their wages have to be raised to reflect the higher value of their labor?

By 2022.

It is 2018.

Just wait, and watch what happens in the next four years there.

I predict, this will be completely repealed.

They’ve had roughly four years to prepare for this, so I assume anyone who cannot or will not pay has either gone out of business, relocated, or reduced staff.

As soon as they can purchase robotic wait staff, cooks, and greeters you can bet they will at the drop of a hat.

And the unemployed will blame everyone and everything except the real culprits.

My first job as a bus boy paid $1.00 an hour, plus a percentage of the waiters tips.

I worked at the St.Johns diner next to the OTB on Liberty Ave and Lefferts Blvd.

Henry Hill and the Vario/Lucchese crew were regular customers.

Pretty sure the waiters would be busing the tables if the bus boys were being paid $15 an hour.

Oh great, so at $15. an hour, those people in San Francisco shouldn't have any problem buying one of those million dollar++ 60 year old track homes or paying $4,000++ per month to rent an apartment. ☺☺
