Just a simple girl from Yorktown Heights in Westchester County.

Rules for finding bad neighborhoods: Never live anywhere with North, South, East or West in the name.

On the other hand if the town has "Heights" in the name it's probably, with few exceptions, a pretty nice place - I'm thinking Shaker Heights, Arlington Heights, Brooklyn Heights, etc.

Columbia Heights. Mpls area. Not so nice. Avoid if possible.

Shaker Heights is going downhill. Just get into the side streets off Shaker Heights Blvd and Van Aken, just not at night!
