Venezuelan president, Nicolas Maduro, has passed blame for the roiled economy onto others, including opposition activists and officials in Washington. At a campaign rally in May, he blamed hyperinflation on "criminal mafias."

See? Socialism really does work just as long as some folks get out of the way.

Have wages stayed the same or have they also gone up numerically?

Michael Moore should do a movie about the success of socialism in Venezuela. He can call it "Fahrenheit 40,000".

They reversed the German timeline.

Venezuela had their dictator before the inflation.

Yes, there’s quite bit going on way down south. Our U.S. government has poured enormous amounts of money and effort many times into quite a few countries down there in attempts to improve conditions, but political and economic situations repeatedly bounce back to what they were before. Maybe it’s a persistent cultural/heritage thing that we can’t change.

Yes, Maduro, it is Trump’s fault. He didn’t teach you economics. Maduro is proof that liberalism is a very mental disorder...and if you need more proof...see Fredrickia Wilson, Maxine the Mouth Waters and that upset winner in New York...

What I’m implying, is that maybe most people in southern latitudes are simply more inclined toward communal and tribal living. Think that might explain their bouncing back and forth between fascist dictatorships and communism without settling for something in the middle?

A socialist dream realized. Coming soon, if the millennial socialists (nee, communists) gain control of the US.

And coming up from behind Venezuela is gaining on world champion Zimbabwe... Folks it looks like a hopeless challenge with the Venezuelan Bolivar pegged to US$ 79,737 compared to Zimbabwe World championship belt when Zim retired from the currency race in 2009.

Asked about Venezuela's chances to overtake Zimbabwe on the race to the bottom and a new world championship, El Presidente Maduro replied, "In the immortal inspirational words of Presidente Obama, '!Sí se puede¡', Yes we can!"

If you had any savings, their value is essentially zero. Thus, all are dependent on the government. The government’s debts have been wiped out.

I notice the ruling elite is not hurting. They take care of themselves with payment in real money and exclusive stores.

The public gets nothing but what it deserves, since it reelected maduro. They have none of my sympathy.

1/10,000th of that would ruin the US economy.

I wonder if gold has kept up. Certainly hasn’t in the US.

Fill a couple dozen or more C-5’s with Marxist Liberals from the USA and let them live in Venezuela or even Iran for a year. Call it Reality Training. In fact, ship 90% of the US Congress with them. Sound like a plan?

Sounds like they think it's something to be proud of.

How about:
