So much for the liberals’ lie that they’re only advocating “sensible” gun-safety regulation . . .
Appearing on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show this morning, Ben Jealous, the former President of the NAACP and now Maryland Dem gubernatorial candidate, seems to suggest banning shotguns. Commenting on the deadly shooting at the Capital Gazette in Maryland, Jealous said:
“We will, in the next [Maryland state] legislative session, have to have a real conversation about how we finish the job here of our assault weapons ban. But we have to go much further. Journalists were killed with a shotgun.”

And a pump shotgun is less automatic than a revolver. and for at least one shot less automatic than a double barrel shotgun. I believe some would say it is easier to reload a double barrel than a pump. And the guy reloaded. In any case, for him to reload a pump is not like putting in a clip or even reloading a revolver.
Actually, I expected The Left to go after buckshot instead of the gun itself. But, missed that one.

You assumed too much knowledge on their part. They don’t know the difference between various shotgun loads.
No you are correct NOT sarcastic. For the Progs if it were a black , olive, or camo color it would definiitely be an assault shotgun. Reminds me of the great spring action pellet firing 1911 made by Marx Toys in the 50s. So realistic it was used in stuckups. Marx had to recolor it from black to gree to white for an MP look, finally to pink for the girls.
Do you have a link to what he was posting, when on death threats? Was it after he finally lost his court case, the last appeal, in 2015? TIA
No matter what the left claims to wants-for most of the past 30 years, that has been banning AR-15's-as soon as another target is identified they'll want that one too.
That is why it is imperative that they get absolutely nothing in the way of concessions on fundamental rights.
Remember in the 70's how "all we're asking for is that on short domestic flights of less than an hour, is it too much to ask that you not smoke?"
That got their nose in the tent and now there are places in America where you can't smoke in your own house.
