So much for the liberals’ lie that they’re only advocating “sensible” gun-safety regulation . . .
Appearing on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show this morning, Ben Jealous, the former President of the NAACP and now Maryland Dem gubernatorial candidate, seems to suggest banning shotguns. Commenting on the deadly shooting at the Capital Gazette in Maryland, Jealous said:
“We will, in the next [Maryland state] legislative session, have to have a real conversation about how we finish the job here of our assault weapons ban. But we have to go much further. Journalists were killed with a shotgun.”

A reporter for a midwestern newspaper died after falling over a trash can. The can deliberately placed itself in a normal walkway and double tripped him, an obviously premeditated act. State safety experts have been asked to examine the relative condition of trash receptacles in office buildings. The can is in police custody.
The goal is to ban all guns; first bump stocks, then modern sporting rifles, then semi-autos, etc. till they get them all.
“And a pump shotgun is less automatic than a revolver. and for at least one shot less automatic than a double barrel shotgun. I believe some would say it is easier to reload a double barrel than a pump. And the guy reloaded. In any case, for him to reload a pump is not like putting in a clip or even reloading a revolver.”
Good points. Even if well practiced it does indeed take a bit of time to reload a pump or a semi for that matter. About the pump being less automatic; it kinda depends on the age of the pump. Older pumps can be rapid fired by merely holding the trigger down and racking the forward grip as fast as possible. The newer pumps require that the trigger be pulled and released before another shell can be taken to battery. A safety feature I suppose. Btw, I don’t know when this functionality change went into effect and too lazy to research :)

I have one. Got it off of Gunbroker about a year ago. Replaced a Remington Model 885 that Santa brought me back in 2012.
I had the KSG but traded it to my brother for an excellent Garand. I got the better of that deal although he likes the KSG. I guess we are both happy.

Thousands, and I mean thousands of citizens went to Annapolis to testify and join the “conversation,” only to be 100% ignored by these buffoons. Stuff your conversation there Bennie.
