Overturning Roe v Wade would only return the control of abortion to the states. Collins obviously prefers federal control over states rights, which is really what this is.

The precedence argument is a joke.

Precedence didn't start with Roe v Wade. It started thousands of years ago.

The Wisdom of Solomon comes to mind.

It should be overturned on these grounds alone and not on what somebody’s ideas are on the morality of the thing. Abortion in some form or another would almost surely survive in most if not all of the states.
