Believe it or not, I remembered to take the camera with me yesterday ...... ONLY because I had a PostIt note on the door to remind me. LOL
I snapped a couple of shots - per your request, Kathy - of the crushed Jeep at the museum that's been nicknamed "your tax dollars at work". It is one SMOOSHED vehicle.

Well darn the luck. I know you two enjoy getting to the range. Oh well, there’ll be opportunities to go again before long.
Sweltering is a good word for it. It’s miserably hot here this weekend. Spending any time outside is draining. It looks like it will be pretty much the same all week too. UGH!!

It’s very sad. But I’m thinkin’ they had no clue that there was a market for old beat up jeeps. LOL! Think of all the ‘57 Chevys or 64 1/2 Mustangs that ended up in the scrapyards because no one knew they’d be worth thousands of dollars on down the road.

Good evening, lightman...hope it stopped raining at your house.
Today was beautiful, only a few clouds, HOT! 70 is hot. LOL!
Today was the 2nd day of the US Air Force Thunderbird Air Show. LOTS of jets flying out over the city from Elmendorf. Yesterday, in a small patch of blue sky, the Thunderbirds flew directly over my deck as I was outside watching for them. The sound of freedom!!
