They are all communists: China, Vietnam and North Korea, and will remain so. They are myopic and intransigent. Deal with them at arm’s length.
We do a LOT of business with the first two and I predict we’ll be doing a lot of business with that last one sooner than you think. Trump should make a deal/deal with Kim. 6lbs of meat for every North Korean family a week, plenty of rice and vegetables, reliable electricity and medicine and we take 60% of the minerals.
China, Vietnam and North Korea couldn’t be more different. Also, the countries hate/distrust one another. Vietnam and China fought a brutal war... which is why Vietnam is now basically an American military ally.
