Most people have no idea what ICE does.
It was better when US Border Patrol was under Immigration and Naturalization Service INS and US Customs was under the Treasury. President Bush gathered them up under Homeland Security and now no one understands the difference between Border Patrol, Customs Inspectors, Customs Agents, Immigration Customs Enforcement ICE...
To be accurate it is Border Patrol that was (LEGALLY) separating families at the border. ICE is tasked with criminal aliens and building cases against cartel crime. Customs Inspectors work the legal Port of Entries, Border Patrol patrols between Ports of Entry, the media always mixes them up.
Doing away with ICE is the last thing we need, even many of our politicians, and none of our media understand what is what. Only a complete moron would want to do away with ICE. Not that we need to do away with any of them, they are all needed desperately to attempt to control the border.
What we need to do is simple and anyone that supports our country and our people will support enforcing immigration laws and securing the border. Everyone should be 1000% behind President Trump on this. Anyone that does not support that is supporting illegals and open border over our citizens. I am tired of hearing about the rights of illegals, what about the rights of U.S. Citizens?

The call to abolish ICE is from the Deep State. The crooks. Open borders increases their profit margins. The old guard, tired of Hillary progresso wing, is being attacked by the Deep State psyops operation. Abolish ICE. As others have noted, this is a operation designed to fail politically, on its surface. Vast support for border control. So ramping up the border wars is the way they will take this. Look for false flags on border. Also expect real attacks on ice. Looks like they want war.
Since then, the Democrats have pretty much given up on any pretense of representing American workers (at least the white ones, who are now "a basket of deplorables") to instead focus on shifting the US racial and ethnic demographic in their favor. Bernie is just a few decades behind the times.
