Branson is sometimes on Shark Tank. So why does he refuse to give money to serious people with great ideas? Because he would have to wait too long for a return of his money.

Somebody could put some great quotes from Shark Tank beside this story.

Branson was responding to the question, “What do you think those in positions of power should do to address social problems like income inequality?”

And his answer was "take OTHER peoples' money and give it away."

Dear Dick,
When you have given all yours away, I’ll give you
a nickle to buy a candy bar.

Signed.

Deplorable.

He should give us all his money and then we'll think it over.

There’s something with billionaires that causes them to want to use other folks cash for their pet causes.

Maybe Branson has been talking with Cortez? Or Cortez has been talking with Branson? Either way, it will be no good.

We already got something that fixes income inequality here in the U.S. It’s called the middle class.

Not the middle classe’s fault OR the upper classe’s fault if the lower class would rather piss and moan and blame their condition on everyone else rather than better themselves with a simple trade job.

-Ban irresponsibility Charles Branson

-Ban bad parenting

-Ban a lack of self-reliance

-Ban bad school grades

-Ban rap

-Ban rap culture you idiot

-Ban not giving a crap about anything except your own miserable crappy self and not even being man enough to love your own offspring

Whatta you think, genius?

You know, it’s getting to the point where, as much as I’ve been against it, these billionaires are all Left-wings / Democrats. Tax the shit out of them at 99% over $10,000,000.

Let THEM fund their bullshit socialist theories.

The WSJ recently ran a fascinating editorial by Phil Gramm that broke down spendable earnings into quintiles of the U.S. working age population.

Although the bottom quintile makes less than 3% of the earnings, they have almost 13% of the spendable income because of all the transfer payments.

The second and third quintiles are only slightly better off in spendable income because 1) they don’t get much in transfer payments, and 2) they pay much more in taxes. The second quintile makes 7% of the earned income but only has 13.9% of the spendable income, just 1% more than the bottom quintile.

And the middle quintile makes 12.6% of the earned income but only has 15.4% of the spendable income. In other words, between taxes and transfer payments, we’ve already come very close to equalizing spendable income for the bottom 60% of earners.

But here’s the real rub. The middle quintile works four times as much as the bottom quintile and has seven times the number of people working two jobs. (The same numbers for the second quintile are 2.5 times and four times.)

Is it any wonder that the working class people feel like they’re getting screwed?

Maybe it would be a good idea to just drop all the welfare programs and make direct payments as Branson wants. Then we’d see just how screwed working people really are. For example, people making $80,000 a year but only having, say, $55,000 in spendable income would see people not working at all getting checks for $45-50,000 a year. That just might be enough to create an uprising, or get Trump re-elected at a minimum.

sorry for all the typos. not good posting first thing in the morning...here is what I had to say corrected.

If I contacted Richard Branson do you think he would help me out by giving me some of his cash. I live on a social security income so I am not rich. he does not need to ask the government to do this. He on his own initiative could give me that income. there are others that agree with the idea so why not have Richard Branson, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, George Soros, The Walton Family all take a lead in this and the other multi Millioners and those who have more money then they think they should have can on there own start helping out those less fortunate then themselves.

being charitable is a great characteristic to have. but none of these Billionaires I called upon are charitable individuals they pretend to be. none of them understand that it is the person that gives when it takes effort that is truly charitable. instead these four individuals I mentioned want the government to (TAX) or steal from others. they are fairly certain they can Hire a tax consultant who will make it so others pay not them.

The greater a person is in favor of Government Freebies, the lesser that person gives of his personal wealth.

That correlation, when graphed, has to be a straight up and down line. Or a straight flat left to right line depending on what you have on the X and Y axis. (LOL....you get my point right)
