There are consequences to laws and policies.
Liberal San Francisco has prided itself on being liberal towards the homeless.
But they see that being so liberal has only created some other issues, such as human waste on streets and sidewalks.
I haven’t been there, but wonder what is the official action plan for human waste? Or does their liberalism cripple their ability to deal with the problem?
"California
is nice to the homeless
Californ-ya-ya
Super cool to the homeless..."
” San Franciscans complain of stench from 20 pounds of feces on sidewalk (View With Caution)”
San Franshitscans.
The plan to deal with it is to let it keep happening. I had to go to SF for business recently. It was bad last year, but the stench this year was pervasive. The city fathers have no plans to reverse course. Bums (non-PC alert) are enabled to sleep anywhere, to relieve themselves anywhere, to rIfle through public garage canistrers, to panhandle .. Even the upscale sections like Telegraph Hill have screened portapotties installed on the sidewalk. It’s a weird city: beautiful vistas, but the stench is pretty remarkable. I don’t know how residents stand it, or why.
