I might have misremembered some of the bear dance bit - but after numerous college parties we had the song memorized. On the album cover Jimmy is wearing a cast - so several songs refer to his broken leg. I’m not sure the “break your leg” part is on the original song.
The song was written by somebody called something like “The late, great Lord Richard Buckly - an old jazz musician from New Orleans.”
