After what happened to Sessions’ Senate seat, I don’t think President Trump is going to nominate any more Senators for any positions. Maybe next year if the Republicans pick of several more Senate seats in November.

There is zero chance that Lee’s replacement in the Senate would be a Democrat.

Roy Moore was just not very popular among AL GOP voters. In 2012, he under-performed Romney by 18.4% on the same statewide ballot. The odds of a UT GOP special election nominee being quite as unpopular with GOP voters are very low.

Sure hope not. Was a mistake to lose Sessions in the Senate, but at first it seemed like a great idea for AG.
