I am a Pentecostal Christian. We have a number of doctrinal disagreements with the Catholic Church but we are also in agreement on a number of issues, i.e., abortion, same-sex marriage, etc. I watch these things carefully because I see how readily the Left will get all wound up on a candidate who actually tries to live according to the tenets of his/her faith. I remember when JFK was running for President and the rumblings about his Catholic faith. I see today the snipings at Vice president Mike Pence as he lives according to the tenents of his faith. I cannot help be feel somewhat concerned should these Leftists get a stranglehold on power. “They came for the Jews, I was not a Jew so I said nothing....”

Some Catholics will oppose her if she is associated with the Charismatic Renewal.

This Christian cult thing is all B.S. Many Christian congregations engage in home prayer meetings and Bible study groups at private homes. This is not cult behavior but the popular method of Christian fellowship. Many of these home fellowships involve pot luck dinners where the wives share their favorite dishes. In our church, the wives submitted their favorite dishes for a published recipe book. These fellowships feed both the body and the spirit. To denigrate the opposition using the Alinsky method is their routing practice.

Not me. In general, they have good feelings, but when push comes to shove, I’m not confident that they would have my back.

>>It’s funny, she’s not even going to be the pick...<<

I am a Catholic, but I’m praying that you are right because this Barrett woman, in my view, is the judicial equivalent of a Congressional RINO, a stealthy Liberal masquerading as a Conservative. My reason for this conclusion is based on two red flags; (1) she’s said to be a devout Catholic, but the contemporary RCC is notoriously liberal; and (2) she has adopted two orphans from Haiti, a decision that is a quintessential example of “virtue signaling”. “Hey folks, look how progressively liberal I am. I adopted two little Haitian children.” Of course there are thousands of orphans right in in the USA, but . . . well you get the picture.

Particularly the lesbian nuns, KGB-infiltrated atheist pedophile priests (and higher), and social justice dingbats.

It’s called Freedom of Religion Lefties.

It isn’t Freedom of only the Religions I approve of.

Got it?

“Traditionalists” oppose both charismatic prayer and ecumenism.

Have known many Catholic Charismatics since they first came into being and they are about as far from a cult as you can get - and I’ve seen other sincere passionate groups of Christians that did become cults or cult-like after 25+ years.

The CC’s I’ve known have been some of the most loving, open, not-critical-of-other Christians I’ve known, and I have operated and ministered in the larger realm of both non-denominational and denominational Christendom since the late 60’s.......

And many former CC’s are some of the best Christians I’ve ever known......

Typical leftist hit piece........
