Sounds like the classic 4th menu! Enjoy the day, MY! Wish we could all have gotten together, but guess it wasn’t to be.
We’re under a ban, too. We’ve only had 4 3/4” since last December. Ugh!

Great (((ILLEGAL)))) Fireworks tonight!
Everything is illegal in MA, so a great time was had by all.
MA just hates for people to have fun. LOL! That Puritan ethic. :)
Why don’t people wait till the 4th to do their fireworks? Seems like everything is over before the actual holiday! But more fun, I guess.

Good evening, ML...all fireworks are illegal here as well.
And this year, with a dry spring, and high temps this past week, most all burning is suspended as well.
They have a big display downtown, but with sunset at 11:34p, not the best viewing. d:o)
And there will be “illegal” neighborhood displays for sure.

Good evening, Luv...had to stop at the store on the way home, and then my brother and I just sat and talked. He’s here until he leaves for the slope and his next job on Friday afternoon.
It was really nice, and very unusual, that we just sat and talked. He’s fighting a cold, and we are trying to beat the heat. All the fans are up and running...2 in the guest room and 2 in my room, and a big box fan, that does a terrifc job, in the living room. It’s 82 in here by the computer.
Just about every shopping cart had some sort of fan in it. It set a record today...80 degrees!!! Tomorrow is supposed to be much the same. I am quite happy to have NOTHING to do tomorrow.
I’m sorry not to be able to go downtown to the pancake breakfast, parade, and fun displays. I just can’t do that much walking and standing anymore.
Whew! It was getting a bit creepy in here. LOL! Did you finish your show?
I have one to go before I have to split. For some reason, I’m very tired tonight. Probably the heat. It gets to me after a while. Even with AC.
That really does sound like you! Not liking to wait for things to happen. If it weren’t for your punctuality, we’d never get this show on the road.
Oh, and speaking of on time, this time I posted the silly time stamp was ahead of time instead of lagging. So it seemed like I was late when I was really about on time. LOL!
Did that make any sense at all? :)

Oh, it’s wonderful that your brother could be there and I’m so glad you had time to “just sit and talk”. I don’t think you ever “just” sit. LOL!
Great that you can take it completely easy tomorrow. Happy 4th to you and your brother! Hope it cools down soon. I hate for anyone else to have to suffer the heat. Blech!
LOL! It makes perfect sense. FR’s clock seems to gain a little each day. Sometimes in can be off by several minutes. Then it get resets and starts again.
Since I post from work 5 days a week I really notice it. There are lots of times when posting right at 5p can be really tricky. I gave up trying to post “at exactly 5p straight up”. So often it ends up being earlier or later on the FR clock than the one on my computer.
((LOL))Thanks, LUV W. There was actually someone shooting fireworks last night a couple of houses away that spooked him. Tonight is the 4th of July fireworks so we’ll see what happens.
I finished watching the previous shows online last night. Just watched the current one when it came on TV at 8:00 ... posting time for the thread.
Been getting a few little things done around the house, occasionally stepping outside for a bit to listen to the katydids sing. Been waiting all summer for them and they finally “woke up” Sat. night.
The heat will get to you, no doubt about that. It doesn’t take very long outside during the day to drain one’s energy. These long hot spells just leave one drained and I’ve been a little sluggish lately too.
