This party seems to have a split personality.
It doesn’t know if it is going Right or going Left.
But in reality, I could say the same for the Republican Party. It goes Left at least as often as it goes Right.

He was sworn in as Premier last Friday. Doug Ford is the MPP for Etobicoke-North snd the PCs have 76 Sears in the Provincial Parliament, well above the 63 seats needed for a majority government.
The federal Liberals want to run for re-election sooner.
It has close ties with the federal Conservative Party.
Only downside is the socialist Dippers are the official opposition.
Nobody I know can stand him.
Why is this a downside? The far left Liberals don't even have official party status which is just about the ultimate in repudiation, and the far far left are the minority in a government where the Conservatives have a hugely healthy majority. I don't see any downside here at all....
Not entirely... Similar to the blue and red map of the U.S., once one is out of the urban areas President Trump is reasonably well regarded. The big Canadian issue right now is tariffs but if you were to ask any kind of questions about it, you are typically met with glazed eyes.
What I find surprising about the recent Ontario election is just how poorly the Liberals did in the GTA with its gazillion public servants... unbelievable that the PCs simply kicked their butt there. However, it shows just how little trust that even nurses and school teachers had in Wynne....

They’ve got some REAL MEN in that country. Not many, but some.
Canada and the US have a politcal geographical alignment. Liberal East and West coast cities with a conservative interior punctured by some liberal cities. I have family and customers across Canada and we agree on most everything.
