Not entirely... Similar to the blue and red map of the U.S., once one is out of the urban areas President Trump is reasonably well regarded. The big Canadian issue right now is tariffs but if you were to ask any kind of questions about it, you are typically met with glazed eyes.
What I find surprising about the recent Ontario election is just how poorly the Liberals did in the GTA with its gazillion public servants... unbelievable that the PCs simply kicked their butt there. However, it shows just how little trust that even nurses and school teachers had in Wynne....
Canada and the US have a politcal geographical alignment. Liberal East and West coast cities with a conservative interior punctured by some liberal cities. I have family and customers across Canada and we agree on most everything.
