Happy Independence Day!

Went to a church service in a church which was standing at the time of the American Revolution. After the service there was a 20 minute concert by a brass quintet.

Then we drove a couple of blocks to visit the grave of one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

Later watched the DVD of the musical “1776”—finished that moments before the PBS Capitol Fourth concert (absolutely the finest in many years—amazing what happens with a change of CIC!).
