Eliminating 2/3 of existing government regulations is government intervention of the good kind. Jeb Bush would never do it. Hillary would have doubled it.
Imposing Billions of $$ worth of tariffs is government intervention. This is absolutely necessary and timely because it is the ONLY LEVERAGE United States has in forcing trading partners to move towards fair trade. There is no other way China or EU or Mexico is going to suddenly be nice guys and buy more Americans. Because a fair trade = direct loss of jobs in trade surplus countries.
Re-negotiating NAFTA is most certainly government intervention to discourage manufactures to move to Mexico.
President Reagan opened trade with China, without putting in place many controls to make it a fair trade. The trade deficit began with Reagan era and kept growing until it is so huge, it is the biggest theft in history of world.
The kicker is that the elites insist we’re not becoming a SH country. And to them, calling the out the SH countries that really are SH countries is somehow the most horrible thing you can say.

I agree. With trade and currency it’s kind of hard to avoid a strong federal role - but when world currencies were backed by gold, even these systems could be left to the markets (individuals) rather than federal control.
Some think the elimination of the gold backed currencies was a deliberate strategy by international banking cartels to justify top down (federal) trade and currency regulation, so they could be in control.
You and me both! The moment I heard his first speech declaring his intention to run for president, that CONFIRMED my belief he was the right man at the right time.
A lot of people make a ton of money - OUR MONEY - by servicing sh!thole inhabitants. Our public school teachers want more “clients”, landlords want cash-paying tenants, small businesses want undocumented workers (a new serf class). That is why we’re supposed to ignore the “sh!tholiness” going on around us...
