Internet Nukes Democrat Senator For Claiming ‘Eight Immigrants’ Signed Declaration
Daily Caller ^ | 07/05/2018 | Benny Johnson

Even though the Fourth of July is seen as a holiday of unity for all Americans, there were still some in the political world who chose to use the holiday to send a partisan message.

In particular, Democratic Senator and potential 2020 candidate Kamala Harris tweeted odd political commentary on Wednesday’s holiday, erroneously claiming that “eight immigrants” signed the Declaration of Independence.

....The point is also strange because America was not an independent nation at the time and therefore had no immigration laws of its own yet. It is safe to say the internet reacted badly to the Democrat Senator’s tweet.

True but that is a technicality, all but 8 were born in the Colonies. Of those 8 this LIBTARD alludes to, 2 were born in England, the other 6 were born in FORCED SUBJUGATED ENGLISH Countries of Ireland, Scotland and Wales. And only history buffs would know their names.

Bing coughs up good info.

Jack Black should have dropped that shtick after School of Rock. It’s hackneyed and has gotten cringe-worthy.

She’s an anchor baby. At best a naturalized citizen, not a natural born citizen.

You can easily make up lies, in words, photos, videos or anything when the total factual context is omitted.

Yes Gail but as far as the English Crown was concerned they were born on English soil...

so they were British...

Plus if you check their ancestry ...fathers were English born living in those countries...Wales was part of England The Prince of Wales title stems from around 1100...Scotland had been fully under the English crown and law for more than 100 years ...since 1764 the “Scots” by law could not speak their native tongues only English and were forbidden to wear their tartans...and Ireland and her bogs had been subdued ...but these would have been “Englishmen”...they never stopped being “English” even if the family had lived in Ireland for several generations...

All 56 were English...equally subjects of the English Crown...born English...of English parents...no immigration necessary...

The parties self-certify. For Obama Pelosi and the head of the DNC signed a form or letter, I have seen it posted there. It merely says they verify their party’s candidate to be qualified.

I read and saw the accusations about Obama. I sent a letter to the democrat Secretary of state in Cali, who has the ultimate responsibility to verify eligibility as do the others in the other sates.

I said here are a few sources. With all the accusations, maybe you would ask the candidate to submit passport and BC info. I got no response, of course.

The secretary of state in CA: had asked Eldridge Cleaver to provide BC and when he did they DQ’d him for being too young. So we know they have the power. But how to get them to act is another question.

I was working polls in San Diego county and I asked the registrar of voters to look into it and got no response. two weeks before the election, I resigned my poll worker position and never heard anything from the county.

Of course the USSC has abdicated their responsibility on the issue. There were several lawsuits against Obama’s eligibility. Some courst said the plaintiffs ha don standing. That seems odd. Don’t we have the right to fair elections? Hope can voter not have standing in a candidate eligibility case. The rest of the courts just don’t take the case.

It should be pretty obvious to any thinking person that having an unstructured honor system in politics for certifying a candidate’s eligibility is completely nonsensical.

Ripe for abuse by people who have no qualms about abusing.

Highlander Scots held out the longest, until the bribes, murders, and the horrendous killing of William Wallace happened. “The Bruce” was a turncoat in the end for English gold and land. Did it bring peace, NOT REALLY until decades later after all the Lairds had intermarried with the Brits and had land in both places.

I have never considered those countries that were Subjugated by England as English, they sure were not treated the same, and were looked down on by the Brits, still are.

The thing is that ENGLAND considered them ENGLISH...

no matter how we look at the situation 250 years later...

at the signing of the Declaration of Independence, ALL 56 signers were ENGLISH...born ENGLISH with ENGLISH parents ... NBC...no one immigrant...

My Huguenots from France living in New Rochelle, NY, were given “letters of Denization” in 1695 making them just as English...equivalent to my Naturalization paper today which attests to my American citizenship....

we cant look at history with 2018 eyes...what was going on back then ??? What was important to them ??? What did it mean ???

Any one of those supposed 8 would have been affronted if anyone suggested they were not as English as the others...

and the other 48 would have suggested a little sword play to defend the insult to their friends...

Ben Franklin would have arranged some lightning bolts...

Nana that is something we can argue all day, Ireland, Scotland and Wales did NOT as a whole want to be English they were FORCED to be by a superior armed force. Aristocrats played both sides. Same as DEM/GOP do.

On July 4. 1776 there was no DHS, ICE, BP etc. Kamala uses the word “immigrant” whether or not it makes sense, because it is consistent with Dem talking points.

I know they didn’t want to be ENGLISH...

I’m merely pointing out that according to the ENGLISH Crown they WERE ENGLISH and therefore...they were NOT immigrants as this liberal ijit author wants gullibles to believe...

THey were ENGLISH in their own homelands of birth in Scotland etc and they were still ENGLISH in the New World and what became later New York Colony, etc ...

I don’t immigrate I don’t need a visa whenever I visit San Juan, Puerto Rico...I don’t go through customs or immigration as a foreign visitor...I don’t even need a passport...I go as an American and as an American I can stay there the rest of my life...and vote from the next election ...It’s an American “colony” just as New York was an English colony...

Englishmen did not lose their English nationality or rights as an Englishman or gain something else when they moved to an English colony...

This ijit author is writing or speaking to a stupid captive audience of blind dunces who don’t know American history ...and can be counted on not to question anything said erroneously about our forefathers or the times they lived in...

If anything loudly broadcasts what has been lost to the last generation and this current one in the banning of the teaching of real historical facts in the public schools it is this opportunity that the left have to so easily fool the peons with half truths and out right blatant lies...

Actually the Europeans would not have given a thought to whether or not they would be welcomed when they arrived in the colonies...if they were on a ship heading that way they knew they could just get off when it arrived in New York or Charleston or Boston...no customs no immigration...just gather the kids and their stuff and go down the gangplank...

Leftists try to make the argument that since we didn’t have immigration agents in the early days, we should not have any now. We no longer have so many vast uninhabited areas, plus Dems trying to import voters and destroy the nation, make things different.

For her to be a natural-born citizen, her parents have to be citizens of the US.
