Validating Paul Sperry’s tweet. Yes, FBI Agent Peter Strzok failed his polygraph and his supervisors were notified on January 16th, 2016, his results were “out of scope“. Meaning he failed his polygraph test. Yet he was never removed from any responsibilities; and against dept policy, he did not have his clearance revoked until he could clear.

Yes, It’s True: Peter Strzok Failed His Polygraph Yet Retained Security Clearance and Position on Two Investigations…

Not a smidgen of a scandal.

Note that in the article that Strzok's security clearance was revoked 2 years RETROACTIVELY! AYKM?

In the handful of occasions that I observed while in the military for over 20 years....if you failed a polygraph, it usually only took 24-to-48 hours for some session with the commander and your clearance was suspended until a complete investigation could clear up things.

In this case, both this guy and the individual who waived him...ought to have lost their clearances.

My question would now be....who else was polygraphed in the past ten years, failing, and was kept on the job?

I cannot say I am shocked. I’d lay odds that probably 75% of the people in DC that hold clearances did not go through the process a normal person is subjected to.

If they had gone through the process they damn sure would not have passed. Wonder if there are going to be changes for all elected congress critters and that’s why a lot of them are not running again. They either knew they couldn’t pass or what would be discovered on a background check would put them in jail.

I guess we will see if things change now that NSA is in charge.

Outstanding question. Where there's one, there are likely to be many more.

Or who was waived thru without any background checks (Awan brothers etc). I wanna see who signed off on all those waivers.

"Sessions is worthless."

Actually, he is incredibly valuable - to the Deep State. He is a major insurance policy and has done more damage to the Trump Administration than almost any other person.

The entire mess is Sessions fault. If he had handled the Russia accusation and started charging the leakers, this would be handled by now. Every one of those rogue agents would have flipped and Loretta Lynch and Susan Rice would be in the dock.

I guess that this meant Strzok with a revoked clearance was highly qualified to be the lead investigator on the cooked Hillary email investigation, to be one of two interviewers in 2017 of General Flynn, and to spearhead the witchhunt against the newly elected President of the United States. The more I see of the FBI the more it makes me sick.

Don’t be absurd. Loretta Lynch and Susan Rice are black and therefore exempt from everything.

No problem he only worked in counterintelligence and went to all the right cocktail parties /s Hey, FBI dummies, THIS is exactly how you leave yourself open to espionage penetration. The good old boys just knew he was a straight arrow, after all he was banging the boss’s assistant. Idiots!
