Nothing but nothing irritates the Left more than when inconvenient facts interfere with the political narrative. If you ever get to know white South Americans it is evident that Guevara’s opinions are not all that uncommon.

Notice the ones coming across the border aren't the lighter-skinned, Spaniard-looking ruling and middle-class Mexicans? The ones who speak Spanish and English? That's because they're happy in Mexico. They're doing just fine. And they'd be happier if there were less Mestizos to deal with.

Che worship is a pretty reliable indicator of just how much reality any particular adherent is willing to ignore. There is that attraction to fantasy worlds that is an integral part of the Left, and the Che The Romantic Hero mythos has it in abundance.
