And that’s exactly why the liberal snowflake “progs” are scared to death and messing their Huggies.

Perfect words....

That it was a living document was an excuse for the Dems to legislate from the bench.

“Judges are not supposed to re-write the law, re-invent the Constitution, or substitute their own opinions for the will of the people expressed through their laws.”-Trump

Exactly what he’s said from the start, and exactly how it should be!

Now, who will say no to that?

Who is the most pro Constitution of those on the list? He may not even choose from the list.

Oh, my, he is an advocate for ‘original intent’... This next justice has much weight upon his/her shoulders.

Interpret Constitution as Written?

Couldn’t have said it any better than that.

POTUS Trump clearly understands that the Constitution is the Foundation, the Bedrock of our Republic.

Leftists think the Foundation of the Constitution is made of Paper Mache, set on top of Quicksand.

Who could have ever imagined that a former New York Liberal would be the guy to get the SCOTUS back to where it belongs.

No Politics involved with his choices unlike many of his go along to get along GOP predecessors, but a concise reasoning based on the intent of our Founding Fathers.

Wow, what a fantastic weekly address!! Whoever would have thought that a POTUS simply reiterating Constitutional bedrock principles such as separation of powers and interpreting law would bring such joy to me and others.

Noting that I gladly voted for Pres. Trump and do not regret doing so, please consider the following from related threads.

Constitutionally low-information Trump doesn’t seem to understand that when he complains about state sovereignty-ignoring activist Supreme Court justices who have problems interpreting the fed’s constitutionally limited powers, he is actually complaining about the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A).

In fact, in order to make Trump’s vision for MAGA last for many generations, patriots need to support Trump in leading the states to repeal 17A.

The 16th Amendment needs to disappear too.

That will certainly be a refreshing change from earlier years.

What it must feel like to have been a NeverTrumper, and have gotten it this wrong.

This is the man I saw when I studied his platform and listened to what he had to say.

Imagine the intellect that would allow someone to vote for Egg McMuffin, versus Trump over Hillary.

Here's my progression with Donald J. Trump since early 2016:

1. He was not my top choice by any stretch (I wasn't even convinced he would stay in the race if he lost some early primaries).

2. I really started to warm up to him with some of his zany antics during the primary campaign (the infamous "John Miller" story from 1991 that made national headlines in May 2016 was a real turning point for me).

3. By the time he was nominated I was 100% behind him.

4. I had several business trips around the heartland of the U.S. from August to late October of 2016. I attended a couple of Trump rallies in that time. For the first time in my life I was watching a presidential candidate who was riding a political and cultural tsunami that was sweeping across this nation's interior.

5. By the end of October 2016 he became the first political candidate -- at any level -- that I've ever financially supported in my life.

6. I'm a stronger Trump supporter today than I was on Election Day in 2016 ... and statements like this one about the U.S. Supreme Court are perfect illustrations of why this is so.

Making America great again necessarily includes a return to that beautiful document called our Constitution.

Speaking these words is proof positive this President knows whereof he speaks.

God bless you, Mr. President.
