I’ve been a bodyguard. They’re expensive. Most celebrities only hire them when they’re going to a venue or event where trouble might occur. Only hundred-millionaires and billionaires normally have them on a regular basis.

Me too. As I recall I got $100 an hour. And the rule was the principal did what I said when I said it or I was gone on the spot. Lots of folks didn’t like that.
“What do you mean I can’t use the restroom by myself?”
“Sir, anyone could be in there. My job is to keep you alive until you’re home. You do want to stay alive don’t you?”
