Obviously she has not read F. A Hayek’s classic book on socialism “ The Road to Serfdom” where the Nobel prize winning economist explains how socialism inevitably leads to not only loss of economic freedom, but individual liberty. Nobel Prize winning economist, Milton Friedman, similarly wrote several books about socialism with the same warning. Despite numerous examples of nations being economically destroyed by socialism and turning into police states, academics have always maintained that socialism would work if it was implemented by just the right people.

These prima donnas are exactly the wrong people to be leaders. They will quickly becomes dictators, if given the chance. as Lord Acton said, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Look at the track record of communism and other socialist countries: China, Cuba, Cambodia, Venezuela, Nicaragua.
