We need to quit offering the magnet of free government money that brings them here.

It always bothers me when someone refers to Mexico as an ally. Sure, they let us help them with some things but what have they ever done for us

Yea, but we can't say that because it makes us look racist.

Starting in the 1960s, the Mexican sense of hospitality has morphed into:

Su casa es mi casa.

Mexico has never been an ally, and has always been a bad neighbor. I would rather we spend whatever it takes to have a full DMZ style border with Mexico, cancel our trade agreements, suspend border crossings and forget we even have Mexico on our southern border.

Ineffective government. Corrupt government and police. Sending people to the USA to work and send money back, and thus avoiding even trying to have a workable economy.

The USA has been solving Mexico’s problems for years. They need to solve their own problems, but it doesn’t look like it will happen, since they are too stupid to elect someone who will get them out of the $hit they’re in.

The only reason Mexico is an Ally is the War on Drugs, if America didn’t need the War on Drugs and the Drugs that come with it, Mexico would be our arch enemy and the Military would be ion the Border. But you can NOT have a War on Drugs without Drugs so they remain our ally.

Nicely done!

Put simply: America has a fully-functioning Crack House for a neighbor. Why DO we put up with it? It certainly isn’t to our benefit, it harms our own children (Kate Steinle!) and it’s ruining our property values!

The problem is Mexico, not Mexicans in general. To be more specific, Mexico has a deeply entrenched culture of corruption to go along with a de facto aristocratic/peasant tradition which fuels political support for socialist policies to go along with the corruption. It’s not just the drug gangs and the ultra violent kidnapping for profit gangs, it’s the cop and the petty bureaucracy which demand bribes from everyday Mexicans to simply do their jobs. This is a cancer for any society. It breeds contempt for the law. You can see it even in the way they drive - ie no rules, no wait your turn, no order or discipline.

If Mexico were not a neighbor of the US such that it benefits in a myriad of ways ranging from no military threat to direct financial aid and a bailout if necessary like in the mid 90s, to American tourists in large numbers, to a pressure release valve in the form of millions of Mexicans who have crossed the border and sent remittances back, it would be a failed state.

If Mexico were a patch of bad land, you'd spray the whole works with Roundup, erase what's there, and replant. There's nothing to salvage in Mexico.

Allowing/encouraging illegals/invaders to enter our country (USA) from/through their country (Mexico) should be treated as an act of war, an invasion if you will. We need to get tough with our neighbor to the south.

Mexico has an authenticated, certifiable de facto policy of exporting their poorest citizens to our shores.
Mexico allowed some 20 million poor, uneducated and untrained illegals to cross the border into the US.
Mexico does nothing to stop them---and collects billions in wire-transfers.

THE GOVERNMENT OF MEXICO CONSIDERS MEXICANS ON US SOIL
TO BE MEXICAN CITIZENS SUBJECT TO THE GOVT OF MEXICO

A sworn affidavit by Mexico’s Consul General to a Texas court asserts that Mexico’s official govt policy is to
encourage its poor people to migrate here illegally in order to access our generous welfare system.

The Mexican consul’s sworn testimony to the court asserts: “My responsibilities in this position include protecting the rights and promoting the interests of my fellow Mexican nationals, and, that the main responsibility of consulates is to provide services, assistance, and protection to Mexican nationals abroad.”

A sworn affidavit by Mexico’s Consul General to a Texas court asserts that Mexico’s official govt policy is to encourage its poor people to migrate here illegally in order to access our generous welfare system The Mexican consul’s sworn testimony asserts: “My responsibilities in this position include protecting the rights and promoting the interests of my fellow Mexican nationals, and, that the main responsibility of consulates is to provide services, assistance, and protection to Mexican nationals abroad.” A footnote states that Mexican nationality is granted to children born abroad of a Mexican born parent. IOW, anchor babies born in the US retain parents Mexican nationality. Ergo, illegals have two governments looking after their interests.....our govt subsidizing them, and the Mexican govt making sure they collect. Its time the US govt look after the interests of American citizens.

============================================

Mexico also encourages some 100 countries to gather at their border (for a fee?).Trains teeming w/ economic
migrants from Central American countries do so w/ active participation of Mexican authorities.

There is also the terrifying possibility that all these destitute migrants have been coached by Mexican
authorities WRT getting their hands on US gravy train handouts.
