Why worry about what he believes when he’s been wrong-headed in almost everything for a long time anyway?

Discovered a Jimmy Carter Christian the other day on a Townhall blog. The fellow was obsessed with Trump’s infidelity, said Democrats are better Christians, and that the Bible had nothing to say on abortion or gay marriage.

Over heard a gay co-worker talk about her mate and her baby they were adopting, and just felt a wave of revulsion run through my body.

I believe it was a feeling of conviction that something really evil was happening, but the wife just thinks I hate gay people.

I’m pretty sure though there is something of peculiar evil in homosexuality.

To be fair, he doesn’t really support it if you read what he said in the article.

Unbelievable! I don’t know scripture well enough to debate him, but I’m pretty sure Jesus said he was against sin.

Gay marriage doesn’t do any damage to anyone else . . .

except kids, which is the reason why they are getting married in the first place.

Kids and free government cheese, or whatever financial benefits spill forth from being married given your situation.

Jesus would approve of Gay marriage.

The following was spoken by Jesus in a discussion on divorce. It serves to demonstrate what marriage is. It's the joining of one man, one woman.

6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. (Mark 10:6-8)

God only made two sexes -- male and female. After this he ceased from his creative effort.

What God intends for filthy sodomites is expressed concisely in Leviticus 20:13 -- death in this life.

I worked in this administration and it’s successor. Believe me, back then this man was pretty conservative, if somewhat feckless. He was promoted beyond his capability. They say he was a decent governor in Georgia. I blame senility and too much hobnobbing with the Left for the nonsense in this article. The Jimmy Carter of 1978 would’ve never said such a thing.

I am from Georgia, and my first vote was against Jimmah as president, for Ford. I have many friends that were on the Peanut Brigade. I’m not sure if you were in with that crew or not, but at the time those were pretty conservative Democrats, and they voted Democrat because, well that’s what you did in Georgia. The ones that are still alive are Trump supporters.

He was a decent governor, but understand that he replaced Lester Maddox; I will leave it there. Georgia politics have changed a lot since then.

I agree with you re his senility (I talked to him at a common friend’s funeral ten years ago and he was pretty slow then).

But IMHO Jimmy Carter allowed himself to go to the dark side years ago with his support of the Palestinians. As with everything it touches, liberalism ruins everything.

Jimmy Carter is no longer the quaint little Sunday school Baptist teacher. That’s just a myth held on to by the media. A reasonably honorable, albeit simple, man allowed the dark side to slip into his consciousness. I would not bet on his eternal reward.

There are NO passages in any version of the Bible that supports queers counterfeit marriage. There are, however, numerous passages that condemn it. Some call it an abomination. I’ll take the Bible’s statements concerning this issue instead of the Georgia peanut farmer.

It is revolting, because it’s unnatural. It is a signal indicator of evil for these perverts to desire access to children (through adoption, through scouts, through pushing their perverted agenda in the schools) which they themselves could never have, because their coupling is unnatural. Yes, hetero couples can be infertile, but that is an aberration, not the rule.

The sodomites always, through any means they can attain, want access to the children of other people. If it’s “merely” for propaganda purposes, that’s bad enough. But too often, it’s for even more evil purposes.

It’s bad enough that we “normalised” unwed motherhood in this country, so that now generations of children have grown up without a requisite male role model. Now perverts get the children and give them an utterly confusing “role model”.

When do the trannies start pushing for their particular “right” to the children of other people?

And to think he actually taught Sunday School. I’m not sure what translation of the Bible he is using as a reference. My Bible said that babies are God’s creation and God made Eve for Adam. This country has been sliding since its inception. . .but the slope has gotten steeper and we are going down fast!!!!!

Ask her if it would just mean that you “hate” the people who demand a “right” to have relations with animals, because they are repellent? (Although I myself find it difficult to have “love” for any of these perverts. If I can manage it, it will have to be the love of Christ through me, not my own. And their evil sinful acts will still be repellant, just as sin should be to a Spirit-filled Christian. And if it’s a rebellious, unrepentant pervert, I’m not sure that I’m even required to have Christian love towards them. Just think what Jesus said is going to be the fate of the unrepentant in the last days.)

Another democrat using Jesus to push their evil and lies.
It seems to be the last resort of a lot of them lately.

I love when people feel they can speak for Jesus. I’ve gotten into discussions with people about proper dress for Sunday Mass and those that advocate for dressing down always say that Jesus wouldn’t care what you wear to Mass. No one can speak for Our Lord, but those that want to break the rules or want to do what they want no matter what always seem to know what Jesus is saying.

Jimmy Carter can’t be long for this world.

Soon he will get his chance to face God and call Him a liar, like he’s done here. Should be interesting.

What a foolish old man.

1 Thess 4:1-8 gives a commandment against sexual immorality, and says those who reject this command have rejected God.
