You're stuck in the old, failed mode of seeking political "experts"

Incorrect. I'm just not so foolish as to think a bartender is as qualified to judge policy decisions as anyone else.

And that disqualification especially extends to YOU. You've managed to squeeze out half a dozen paragraphs against me with nothing more informing you about me than my disagreement with your position.

I believe its safe to say you give yourself FAR more credit than you deserve.

Hah!

It's not about you, personally any more than it's about me, personally.

I don't really care what your alleged "qualifications" might be. They're irrelevant.

The problem here is that you and your fellow snob sneer at someone because he's a bartender (a profession which requires work directly with paying customers and contact with the real world). So what? Is a bartender incapable of thinking? Is a bartender incapable of reading? Does a bartender not have the right to form a political opinion. Does he not have the right to express said opinion? Does he not have the right to VOTE according to said opinion? Is his opinion necessarily of less value than someone else's, because he's a bartender and that "someone else" is a self proclaimed expert?

What utter drivel you propose! Of course he can think. Of course he enjoys the same rights as you and I! And his opinion, based on living and working in the real world rather than the political echo chamber, may well be of greater value than the supposed expert.

And you have the right to sneer at him anyway.

And I have the right to recognize you for the ignorant, arrogant snob that you are.

Good Day.
