This was a fundraising email effort which generally starts with an “we’re-all-gonna-die” grabber line. That, and Pelosi is the head of the Democratic party. She can dictate that, for example, nobody applaud Trump at the State of the Union speech. So, she is probably alluding to the fact that she has given orders and coordinated with her Senate half.
I don’t know what the current numbers are, but last I read the pubbies had out fundraised the dems by several magnitudes. If they don’t have large amounts of money they will have to cede some offices to the pubbies because advertising is important.
That means that SCOTUS nominees could only be considered on odd-numbered years.
Unless he meant years with Special Elections, too.
Which means NEVER. Unless, of course, the POTUS is a Democrat.
