Not my first choice, but he’ll be alright.

NOOOOOO!!!!

Actually I have no idea regarding the relative merits of the top 4 candidates (although I was partial to Judge Amy Barrett, since the Libs seemed to hate her the most), but I’ll trust that the Lord guided the President’s hand to pick a good one.

And, the dhimmicraps have already said they will oppose, regardless of the choice.
SO...let’s have the hearing...should be an immediate vote. No need to give the dhimmicraps stage time to vidcap campaign material and grandstand for the folks back home.
Let’s just pass it over to the Senate for a vote...Up or Down.

Coulter’s job under Reagan (with Mark Levin) was vetting judges. He should be okay. Having a judge not pass teh Senate right before elections would fire of up the left’s base. Need to get this on passed quickly.

Sotomayor has type 1 diabetes and RBG is old and can’t last too much longer. Trump should get one more, at least.

I’m optimistic.

Just think, when The Donald is re-elected he’ll get two more justices (Ruth Buzzy and Justice Thomas).

If he gets on the Left-To-Right will be

Kavanaugh

Gorsuch

Roberts

Alito

Thomas

3 of the 4 remaining liberal justices will still need to be replaced.

This is a great pick. He will do great alongside Gorsuch, Thomas, and Alito. Hopefully, the four of them will get Roberts back in line.

Kavanaugh on gun rights:

https://reason.com/blog/2018/07/06/scotus-contender-brett-kavanaugh-on-gun

"In Heller," Kavanaugh noted, "the Supreme Court held that handguns—the vast majority of which today are semi-automatic—are constitutionally protected because they have not traditionally been banned and are in common use by law-abiding citizens. There is no meaningful or persuasive constitutional distinction between semi-automatic handguns and semi-automatic rifles. Semi-automatic rifles, like semi-automatic handguns, have not traditionally been banned and are in common use by law-abiding citizens for self-defense in the home, hunting, and other lawful uses. Moreover, semi-automatic handguns are used in connection with violent crimes far more than semi-automatic rifles are. It follows from Heller's protection of semi-automatic handguns that semi-automatic rifles are also constitutionally protected and that D.C.'s ban on them is unconstitutional."

Although Heller suggested that various "longstanding" gun restrictions would pass constitutional muster, Kavanaugh said, D.C.'s gun registration system does not qualify. "Because the vast majority of states have not traditionally required and even now do not require registration of lawfully possessed guns," he wrote, "D.C.'s registration law—which is the strictest in the Nation and mandates registration of all guns—does not satisfy the history- and tradition-based test set forth in Heller."

Ann No neck Coulter liked him and she likes Romney.

I liked the gal, this guy scares me, he has a liberal smell to him. Bush, Bush

But I will say Trump made it hard for them to attack him.

Levin said any of the four would be good, but he has questions for this pick.

disappointing. the last thing we need is another inside the beltway ivy educated swamp creature who has spent his life on administrative law cases. Yes, I know Scalia fell into that category too so we can only be hopeful. Then again, so did Roberts.

Now the battle begins.
