I think Trump ended up picking a candidate that no GOP Senators would bitch about.
Has to be realistic but with Rand Paul saying he’s a no, don’t see how he passes.
Would be nice someday to not have to fight the media, Democrats, liberals in the GOP, etc, etc, etc every inch of the way on the simplest of things. It’s a SCOTUS nominee - are they able to fulfill the basics of the position? Rubber stamp it and move on. Don’t like it? Win the White House next time.
But no, it’ll be a hard grueling fight with GOP’ers leading the charge to sink a well qualified candidate. Somedays, you just wanna see if a brick can break the stupid barrier.
