Dems should love this guy. He’s the best they will get from Trump.
If the democrats choose this the hill to die on, it could destroy them. If they reject this guy they’ll be sorely disappointed with the next one. Trump fights back with a vengeance.
He'll pass. He's a weak pick and the democrats won't risk a fight that might leave them stuck with a real constitutionalist. They'll whine, but they'll confirm.
I predict he will, and I think that’s why Trump picked him. I am skeptical of this guy, though, mainly on abortion. That’s a primary issue for me.

Depends on who makes the case... Democrats may find this man to be the least threat. Especially if they think Trump will nominate someone else (more conservative) from his list.
Hell, the Dems may ram him through as the lesser evil.
Rand Paul’s objections and lack of support may not matter in the least.
