Outside groups on both sides of the debate over abortion rights immediately issued predictions about what the nomination would mean for the future of Roe v. Wade.
Dana Singiser, the vice president for public policy and government relations at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, told reporters Monday night, "The right to access abortion safely and legally in this country is clearly on the line."
Anti-abortion-rights activists do not disagree. Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of the conservative Susan B. Anthony List, told reporters on a press call that the nomination of a fifth conservative justice is the culmination of years of work getting Republicans elected to all branches of government.
"We have known this moment was coming, and so over a year we have been organizing in these Senate battleground states," she said

Sounds like a solid pick to me.
There is no “right” infered on abortion in our bill of rights.
There can be no dialog because the abortionists' arguments are founded upon a biological lie.
It seems a contradiction
The dims always going on about "Women's Reproductive Rights"
But they want abortion
Abortion is the opposite of a Reproductive Right.
But we knew already that liberalism is a mental disease.
This is surreal.
Both sides are claiming that Kavanaugh would vote to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
However, both sides are wrong, because Kavanaugh would not vote to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
So happy about the SCOTUS nominee.
Read article, hoping for a discussion and analysis of abortion and states rights.
But the NPR headline mirrored this whole confirmation process: abortion hysteria! But less than 10% of the real content.
NPR fake news.
Agreed. How stupid the leftists are with their protesting. Their all low IQs like Max! Good thing they arent reproducing. Moronic genes.
Original headline was undoubtedly “XX Nomination Sparks Uproar On Abortion Rights” and changed at 9:10 before hitting the Publish button.
It’s always good fun to ask a liberal when’s the last time an abortion case came up before the Supreme Court.
Unless, of course, you're a "science denier"....
Bump
As my mom says, “If something grows, it is alive.” She’s just a preacher’s wife, and certainly not a scientist, but it does make sense.
Who really would vote to overturn R-v-W? It will end up at the State level where it belongs ... if we continue to support Trump and especially if he gets at least one more SCOTUS pick.
Just as it did when Lewis Powell retired in 1987. And then John Sununu and Warren Rudman snookered conservatives with Souter.
Well, we’ll win this one!
It's the loss of Federal Funds....AND likely that REAL polls show that folks believe abortion is murder of a human being....cuz it can be nothing else.
A right to kill?? Insane...
Abortion is murder.
Is there also a murder right?
Everyone knows a Trump pick is likely to have some collisions with Roe and other exciting frontline issues. They’re acting like Trump has done a sudden pivot to the right.
Yes, bitch. The license to slaughter babies legally (it's never safe) SHOULD be on the line.
