In this day and age, why are’t legislators able to vote from home?

I do believe it will in the mix before too many years. We today’s communication tools I can see a each senator with an office somewhere in their home state that has telecommunication hookup, such that the person can be seen and heard as they preform
their duties.
Because the lobbiest don’t send bribery money in the mail would be my guess...
