No, but in the bathroom that’s off the bedroom. I’ll put what she needs in the shower...bedding, food [till midnight or till she gobbles it] and a small litter box.

I’ll take breakables that I have in the window out of there so she doesn’t accidentally break something and then cut a paw or something, maybe trying to get out. Then first thing Monday morning...to early for my blood LOL...we’ll crate her and take her to the vet for shots and surgery. I think they’ll keep her over night.

Then, same thing the day she gets back and then after a couple of healing days, see if she wants to go out. I can’t let her loose in the house. My two would hate it and probably make me suffer forever for my treachery in bringing another cat into their kingdom. LOL! Peaches sleeps on the bed, so there would be a cat fight for sure if she was loose in here. And he tries to dig under the door...damaging the carpet...if I shut the door against him. Spoiled brat. LOL!

I got 7 out of 11 right. Some of those shows were way before my time. 🤣

The bathroom is where I put our cats when they need to be kept away from food or from the other cats for some reason. I also do what you plan to do .... get all the breakables out. Kind of a pain but it’s not like it’s done very often.

I’d plan on more than a couple of healing days before letting her out. It’s a major surgery and she needs to be kept from getting too much exercise for a few days so the stitches don’t get torn out. You also need to have her handy to keep an eye on in case she decides to pull the stitches out. Infection can set in and that’s a nasty problem to have to deal with. We’ve had a few pull that stunt.

A hassle, I know, but in the long run it’s worth the short-term trouble. No more kittens and she’ll be a healthier kitteh overall.

it’s going OK. The weather has been nice and cool the lat several days with all the rain and clouds around but it’s forecast to heat back up later this week.

Lucky you! Cooler weather sounds divine. It doesn’t cool off here except during brief showers. They just make it ultra-steamy when they stop and the sun pops back out.

But hey, it’s summer and heat’s part of the package. Right? LOL

Good morning Canteeners. How is everyone?

Just passing through.
By the time most of you wake up,
I'll be off doing something, like walking the dogs.
I've had to get the girls out early due to the nasty heat.

Our weather hasn't been too bad the last few days, and
this past weekend, the weather was beautiful!
However, I hate to say this,
we really do need a bit of rain.
Looks like temps are going to move back
into the 90s range later this week.
Hubby and I have managed to get to the pool
a couple times so far this year.
With plans to go more before end of the season, which
happens to be right after Labor Day.

It’s going to try my very short patience, but I do know it needs to be done....for her health if nothing else. Poor little thing is skin and bones!

I’m glad you do the same thing. Makes me feel more confident I can get it done. Just have to remember not to try to go in there in the middle of the night. LOL!
