“Can you cite us some examples in the past where hes shifted?”
I cannot. Just going by instinct. I’m sure it’s a gut reaction to his body language and how measured his speech is. I trust it, because I’m very seldom wrong and it has served me well for a long, long time.

Let’s put it this way (assuming we can trust your instinct), FLIP-FLOPPING or CHANGING YOUR MIND can be GOOD or BAD depending on the situation.
If you change your mind because new information and more experience tells you that your previous beliefs are wrong, I don’t see why it is not a good thing to o so. Only stubborn people refuse to change their minds in the face of opposing evidence.
If you however, “change your mind” (note the quotes) out of political convenience, that shows a man without principle ( it also tells me that you probably never believed in your former stance in the first place ). Obama’s sudden support of gay marriage after he said he was opposed to it during the campaign is just one example. I never believed him when he said he was opposed to it the first time.
Welp, I suggest you take your gut and educate it on Pence, because it's not real smart.
