Intel constantly had problems with Chinese and Indian engineers stealing IP and Trade Secrets.
BTW, Trade Secrets are considered so secret, companies refuse to Trademark, Patent or Copyright them.

Most employees don’t have access to Trade Secrets for exactly this reason.

I did for awhile at Intel and was told in a meeting that if I wanted to spend time in prison, tell someone it.
I’m still a free man and still never told anyone it.

Yes, isn't it curious how it took decades of research and development to create our semiconductor industry, and then suddenly, bingo—a couple Chinese startups leapfrog into the top 10.

I know this—there are more native born Americans who care more for a bribe and some cash than care about the future of their homeland.

On a side-note, just yesterday, I see that AMD has "licensed" its crown jewels to a Chinese startup. Some Linux engineers tested samples and said they are identical to AMD's own Threadripper top-of-the-line server processors. But we were assured by AMD that this wasn't possible, that only simple technology was "licensed".
