Now her first offer to the EU for separation is so bad that everyone’s mad. Because it says the UK has to meet EU standards for everything but doesn’t get a say in those standards (though it was nearly nil before), the Leave voters are upset because it is a white flag surrender ... as the first offer. Remainers are upset because it is the worst possible way to remain in a broader trading union.
I can confirm that for the Philippines ,,, am in Mindanao at the moment , a few km’s from Marawi ,, Duterte supporters love Trump.

No wonder the establishment in Britain did not like Churchill.
They figured they could keep their lands and money if they worked a deal with Hitler. Hitler was counting on a surrender. Not sure if some talk between the German and Brits had gone on sub rosa to grease the skids of that deal.
Churchill is likely Trump’s spirit animal.
