You got it. They’ve been doing that for years.

All the greenies and their recycling teddy bear - “Don’t you recycle? How come you don’t recycle? You’re supposed to recycle!”

Can’t wait to see how the Watermelons deal with this (green on the outside, red on the inside).

I take all my kitchen waste, yard and garden waste and paper or box waste, put it in an old blender. I add a little water or stale beer, yeast, and make it into trash smoothee. Then I have a 50 gallon size composter I let it all cook in. I add more kitchen waste as produced like egg shells, peels, coffee grounds, etc....

Best free garden soil ever!

I live in a university town. Recycling virtue-signalling is big here. Years ago I took some stuff to the municipal landfill and saw them burying recycling bags. I called them on it and they said it was only temporary and they would dig it all up and recycle it later. I told all my recycling acquaintances about it and they said I must be mistaken. Then in January of this year a local newspaper staffed by journalism students had an article on how the “recycled” bags are being buried in the landfill.
