Not strong enough, why just hit government officials? No visas should be granted to anyone coming or going and halt all monetary aid they may be receiving. It would probably last less than 24 hours.

Fair enough. I wonder, though, how many people come here legally from Laos and Burma? It might be more of an immediate message to hit the officials.

Cut off any US dollars going to these countries.

This is step one. If this doesn’t work they can go further and ban all travel to and from these countries. Frankly I think this first step will be enough. It shows that Trump is serious.

Once you get past the government officials, there are not many people in Burma or Laos who have the money to travel to the US and among them, many would not get visas anyway. So Trump is hitting them where it hurts.

The rice farmers aren’t going to get any kind of visa under any circumstances.
