The color of her gown was clearly very carefully studied and chosen for the occasion and the setting. Look at the Guard. Look at Blenheim Palace itself. Then look at them all together with Melania Trump, in her gown. Perfect. Not an accident, and not an easy thing to have accomplished. Color does strange things in different settings, in different sorts of light. That does what it was no doubt intended to do, she looks totally as if she belongs there.

I noticed that Theresa May should’ve done a little more research herself. Her gown blends in with the carpet and gets lost. Melania is a beautiful standout!

I thought the same, exact thing....about the careful planning of Melania’s dress color.

She ILLUMINATES the picturesque setting.

Wonderful observation. I can believe that the time of day and the likelihood of a sunny day and the afternoon's better light for photography played a role.

Melania is bringing back -- not just haute couture -- but also a greater appreciation for fashion among we deplorable families who would never spend $5,000 for a dress.

She's a one-woman Army defending Western fashion -- and graciousness.

And like her husband, she is thoroughly unpredictable and willing to innovate!
