I hope the weekend will be more comfy than here so you can enjoy doing things outside. It’s gonna be a roaster here. We’ve been roasting all week but they keep saying we’ll cool off a little next week.

Did the grocery shopping this afternoon and stopped by the doctor’s office to make an appointment for the annual Medicare “wellness check”. I’d forgotten that it was time to do that.

The brood is minus one as of yesterday. Had to put Sasha to sleep. :-(

Thanks. She was up and down over the past few months but this “down” was one we couldn’t pull her out of. It was time. Just never easy to say goodbye.

We’re doing our best to say cool. LOL! No fun having to step outside for any reason during the day. It does cool off nicely once the sun goes down at least.
We’re looking forward to a little break next week.

Hope y’all have a break in the heat soon too.

I don’t blame you. Popeye’s is good stuff. I just eat a couple of the strips and the beans, and have several strips leftover for another time. Sure was good!

Good thing I had the box closed. I went outside to feed the strays and when I got back in, Peaches was jumping down from the table looking very guilty! HA! I told him what a bad kitty he was and he’s been very sweet since then. He didn’t get my chicken though. LOL!

Thanks. We did all we could for her but she finally reached the point of no return. She’s at peace now and that gives a little comfort.
