Correction. Divi is the one missing from the nest. It appears Big Pig knocked him off last night. :-(

Yes, it is. Hope you had a good week although I know you’ve been busy.
Like me, always busy no time for rest. Yet in winter I should just hibernate like a bear

Good evening, radu...safely inside with A/C and fans as needed?

We are supposed to get warm again, and then rain for the weekend.

LOL! You bet inside with the A/C though it isn’t too hot outside now. Just soupy.
Had to venture out this afternoon for groceries and walking across the parking lot was like walking through a furnace. UGH! Can’t wait for next week when it’s supposed to cool off a little.

I hope you get the rain they’re promising this weekend. Y’all need it badly, especially where the fires are burning.

I just cannot imagine surviving in that soupy weather. I came home, got a bowl of cereal, sat down in the living room, and fell asleep as soon as I put my bowl down...too many short nights this week.

Back to my computer. LOL!

It isn’t like this every summer but it sure sux when it goes this way. This year’s been a little tough.

Couldn’t help but chuckle at your unplanned nap. LOL! I hope you don’t have homework so you can get a good night’s sleep tonight.

Oh, no! I was just watching and thought it was Divi, too. I was kind of celebrating that he finally branched! Has anyone located him or will they just let him find his way back like they did at the Berry nest.

I was also thrilled to find out that the sea eagle nest was now on You Tube. I added it to my playlist! Yay!

It rained once for about 5 minutes and then the sun came out and we were in the upper 60s. I’m holding off watering til the weekend.

And I have a tree guy coming in a couple weeks to see about cutting down a couple trees and then, hopefully, the grass might grow.

I assumed it was Divi at first, thinking Big Pig had fledged early, early this morning. But then I started scrolling through chat and found out it was Divi who was missing. Big Pig tried to sleep on the branch last night and slipped once. There’s a .gif at the forum of that. She apparently did it again later and knocked Divi off the nest.

I just now heard him call from below so he’s apparently ok. Just not happy about the situation.

Maris has been contacted and said he’d send Janis out to check on him. We all hope he’ll be able to get back up to the nest on his own but who knows? heck, he hadn’t even started branching yet!

Awesome news about the sea eagle cam being on YT! I really don’t like UStream. And now we’ll be able to go back to catch up on a little of what we’ve missed. :-)

We should have hatchings there in a couple of weeks.

Hey, at least you got a little rain for the new grass. Saves you from having to water it for now.

Grass does need sunshine and getting rid of a couple of trees should help a lot. I hope the tree guy gives you a good price.

Another good reason for liking it on YouTube. We missed so much last year because of the time difference!

I’m glad Janis has been alerted. Knowing those two parents, he won’t get much food if he’s unable to fight for it. BP was squeeing his head off earlier either talking to her brother or wanting something to eat. There’s nothing edible on that nest. LOL!

The time difference wasn’t the problem for me. It’s watching other nests, too, and not being able to go back a little to see what happened while I was at another nest. YT has made it so much easier to keep up with everyone with their rewind setup. LOL

Divi’s biggest problem with food will be having to eat it on a branch. It takes them a while to master that feat. He’ll have to be fed by whichever parent takes food to him.
He’s also not ready to sleep on a branch. This is the first time he’s been on one, provided he’s on one and not on the ground.

I’d say Big Pig’s hollering for food more than anything. They didn’t get much to eat yesterday.

Gaaaaaaaahhhh! Comcast went out just as I was about to post this. It finally came back just now.

Bless your heart! You are just about running on empty! When are you going to take a decent vacation? You need it more than anyone I know.

You and The Mayor!
